Introduction: Eyeglasses During Black Friday-Cyber Monday

It turns out that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are great times to find discounts, coupon codes and deals on prescription eyeglasses, blue light glasses and reading glasses.

Or, rather, “Cyber Week” is a great time to find these sales and deals, since Black Friday as a standalone day is pretty much dead. (79% of stores launched their Black Friday sales the Monday before Thanksgiving.)

The Best Early Black Friday 2025 Deals on Prescription Eyeglasses and Sunglasses

GlassesUSA.com is a stellar option for name-brand prescription eyewear, sunglasses and Blue Light blocking glasses from labels like Ray-Ban, Prada, Persol, Versace, and more.
2. Zenni Optical has Early Black Friday until 11/23. Use code EARLYBF25 to save 40%. Along with EyeBuyDirect, Zenni is one of my absolute favorite options for cheap prescription eyeglasses thanks to their more than 1,600 frame and color combinations and complete glasses starting under $7.
3. Warby Parker – Save 15% on two (or more) pairs of prescription glasses from Warby Parker. (This is an ongoing deal.)

Cyberweek, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are also great times for discounts on readers and cheaters.

1. Thin Optics, which makes the world’s thinnest readers and cheaters, takes 30% sitewide during its “Season of Savings” sale. (Stay tuned: The company had mega Black Friday 2024 sale with 40% off.)
2. Foster Grant takes 35% off sitewide on its readers, cheaters, sunglasses and blue light lenses during their 2025 Black Friday week sale. Their website indicates that signing up for emails will unlock even bigger savings.
3. Look Optic has 30% off sitewide for their 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday event across their lineup of readers, Blue Light glasses and sunglasses during one of their biggest sales of the year. (Annoyingly, it asks for your email and phone number to enter the site.)
4. Eyebobs has 25% off everything across its entire lineup of cheaters, Blue Light glasses and all-day readers during its Early Black Friday 2025 sale. (For Black Friday 2024, Eyebobs offered 30% off sitewide.)

The Best Black Friday 2025 Sales on Sunglasses

While it might be too cold for the beach in many places, Black Friday is also a great time to save on sunglasses for women and men. Here are the best BFCM deals I’ve found:

1. Sunski has 35% sitewide on its sunglasses for Early Black Friday 2025. (Founded in 2012 and launched via Kickstarter, California-based Sunski specializes in polarized sunglasses, including stylish, lightweight men’s glasses.)
2. Ray-Ban has up to 50% off on its sunglasses during Black Friday-Cyber Monday 2025.
3. Persol has 50% off premium prescription lenses during Cyberweek 2025.
4. Shwood Eyewear takes 30% off all sunglasses plus has deeper discounts on past-season styles. Shwood sells really cool sunglasses with hardwood frames.
5. Costa Del Mar has up to 50% off sitewide for BFCM 2025. (You have to sign up for emails for “early access.”)
6. Oakley has up to 50% off for Black Friday 2025. (Early access requires signing up for emails.)
7. Pitviper, which makes shades for snow and ski, baseball, running and motorsports, has 25% off sitewide during its Early Black Friday 2025 sale.

Looking Back at the Best Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 Deals on Prescription Eyeglasses, Sunglasses and Readers

It’s still too early for some companies’ 2025 Black Friday deals on eyewear. Here’s a look back other great Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024 deals to give you a sense of what else might be ahead for this year.

1. Felix Gray, which rarely has sales, takes 25% off sitewide from across their lineup of well-regarded blue-light blocking glasses during their Black Friday 2024 sale.
2. Bonlook has select frames up to 70% off during the company’s 2024 Black Friday-Cyber Monday sale.
3. Readers.com takes 40% off with code GIVE40 during their Black Friday 2024 sale.
4. ICU Eyewear, which sells stylish reading glasses (cheaters) and blue light blocking glasses, is offering Buy One Get One Free sitewide during Black Friday 2024.

Is Black Friday a Good Time to Buy Eyeglasses?

Black Friday is a great time to find deep discounts on prescription eyeglasses and reading glasses. Nearly all major online eyewear retailers offer their best sales of the year. Black Friday 2025 also sees sales from some brands, like Felix Gray, who rarely offer discounts.
