When the weather turns cold, nothing feels quite like corduroy pants. Here are 9 options for corduroy pants for men, perfect for colder weather.

Todd Snyder NY is one of my favorite menswear destinations when visiting New York City and a go-to alternative to J. Crew. They always seems to have corduroys on hand. As of this writing, Todd Snyder is offering a dressy Sutton corduroy trouser in bright colors including light blue, eggplant-y purple and seashell-like mauve.
Prana’s sustainer cord pants feather organic cotton with a touch of elastine and a slim fit. My favorite color is the autumn-inspired dark maple.
Bonobos, like many other retailers, offers corduroys seasonally. This means that, by January, they are likely on sale and selection is spotty. As of this writing, Bonobos had several different options for corduroy pants on sale, including Bedford cord pants, their corduroy 5 pocket pants, and Limited Edition Suiting Pants in deep green corduroy. Be careful though: Bonobos engages in “final sale” practices, which means you can’t return your purchase when noted.
AG Adriano Goldschmied
Well known for denim, Adriano Goldschmied (AG) also makes sublime corduroy pants for men. Try AG’s Matchbox Slim Straight Leg Corduroy jeans, available at Amazon or their Everett Straight Leg Corduroy Pants available at Nordstrom.
Goodthreads by Amazon
Amazon has been expanding its private label line of menswear. Their Goodthreads brand, promoted as an alternative to Banana Republic, offers pretty good looking Straight-Fit 5-Pocket Comfort Stretch Corduroy Pants.
No Man Walks Alone
No Man Walks Alone features an eclectic collection of serious menswear. Founded by menswear enthusiast Greg Lellouche, their prices are not for the faint of heart. NMWA features outstanding cords from labels including No Man Walks Alone X Sartoria Carrara, Doppiaa, Blue Blue Japan, Kaptain Sunshine, Document. The list price for a pair of cords clocks in at north of $200, though sales take the edge off.
Much to my surprise, Madewell makes menswear. The spin-off from J. Crew launched a menswear line way back 2018. Madewell’s straight-leg corduroy jeans are a relaxed cut made from a lightweight corduroy blend of 93% cotton, 6% polyester and 1% polyurethane.
Sid Mashburn offers a slim-fit garment-dyed sport trouser made from 14-wale 100% pima cotton corduroy. The pants offer premium details including oxford cloth pocketing and brass washer rivets and comes in an array of unique colors.
Peter Millar offers affordable luxury Superior Soft Corduroy Five-Pocket Pants with a cotton-modal fabric blend. These are “classic fit” (read: roomier), with a finished 34” inseam that will need to be tailored unless you’re a giant.
