Tis the season for after-holiday and end-of-the-year clearance sales on clothing for men, women and children.  Here’s a list of my favorite destinations for post-Christmas 2019 and new years 2020 sales from innovative clothing brands and e-commerce retailers.

End of the year sales serve as a bookend to the holiday shopping season that starts with Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, discounts and craziness.

2019 End of the Year Clothing Deals and 2020 New Years Sales

Nordstrom – Usually I go in alphabetical order, but it’s important to stick this one at the top. Nordstrom’s half yearly sale is one of the best out there. Score up to 50 percent off Nordstrom’s excellent selection of clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. The company is one of Modern Fellows’ favorite menswear department stores thanks to its stellar combo of customer service, e-commerce technology, rapid fulfillment and a cool selection of young and established brands.

Andie Swim – Take 30% select styles from the Warby Parker of women’s swimwear that lets you try-on suits at home.

Amazon – Amazon has a series of year-end deals across their site, including on fashion. I’d expect good deals on Amazon Prime Fashion brands for men like Buttoned Down and Goodthreads, and Amazon Fashion brands for women including Lark and Ro and Daily Ritual.

Aquatalia – Take 40% sitewide with code NEWYEAR40.

Beckett Simonon – In December 2018, Beckett Simonon offered $99 in savings with their end of the year offer of two pairs of shoes for only $299 using code 2019 at checkout. As of this writing, I haven’t seen a discount for this year.  Discover more about the brand by checking out Modern Fellows’ review of Beckett Simonon’s Durant shoes.

Billy Reid is taking up to 50% off a selection of its stylish clothes for men and women during its winter clearance.

Boden takes up to 60% off a selection of clearance items from its collection of fashionable clothes for men, women and kids.

Bonobos, one of my favorite e-commerce menswear shops, has a wide variety of chinos, button down shirts and more on sale, though beware that they do “final sale” only, which means no returns. For a limited time, take an extra 40% off final sale items with code SLEIGH. Peak inside a Bonobos Guide Shop in Washington, DC’s Shaw.

Brooks Brothers is hosting its semi-annual sale with discounts of up to 50% through January 2.

Charles Tyrwhitt — one of my favorite retailers for off-the-rack button down dress shirts and other menswear staples, has final 2019 reductions of up to 65% off plus take an additional 20% off $200, 15% off $150 and 10% off $100 with code FLASHFLASH.

Fatface – Take 50% off a selection of clothing for women, men and kids from the “best British retailer you’ve never heard of.”

Frank And Oak – Take 20% off almost everything from this Canada-based e-tailer’s clothes for men and women with code BOXING20.

Gap – I know, Gap isn’t exactly a fashion startup, but they do one heck of an end-of-the-year sale.  Take up to 75% off everything with code MORE.

Grayers – Get up to 60% Grayer’s well-crafted clothing for men at their end of the year clearance.

Happy Socks – 40% off one of my favorite retailers for colorful socks for men and women plus free shipping during their end of the year sale.

Indochino is having an “end of the year blowout event,” knocking off up to 40% off custom suits and more.

J Crew – has 50% of sale styles with code BIGSALE.

Jack Mason takes up to 50% of a selection of watches for men during its winter sale.

Kotn – Take 40% select items during this sale from this Canadian direct-to-consumer brand, which specializes in premium wardrobe basics for women and men like socks, t-shirts and sweats at a fair price.

Ledbury, in my opinion, is one of the best men’s clothing brands around.  Take up to 60% off during the Richmond-based retailer’s winter sale.

Madewell – Take an extra 30% off sale styles from Madewell’s heritage-inspired womenswear with code MEGAMEGA.

The Nines Paris, one of my favorite places to shop for ties, offered 30% off a collection of their best-selling ties, bags, shirts, cufflinks, belts and more in January 2019. I haven’t yet seen a deal for January 2020.

Nisolo – Take 30% off sitewide, including sale items with code NEWYEAR30 through January 3rd at 12:00PM central.

Roots – Knock 50% off clearance items from this Canada-based retailer that specializes in warm weather and outdoor gear.

Stag Provisions, with physical stores in Texas, is one of the most innovative menswear stores in America. It has also established a collection of clothing for women under the banner Daughters. Stag is having a Boxing Day sale, and I’ve noticed discounts of up to 30% off their wonderfully curated selection of menswear, shoes and accessories online.

ThredUp, the largest consignment shop in the world, has up to 50% with code YAY2020 during its end-of-the-year sale.

Todd Snyder is discounting a selection of merchandise by up to 50% during their BIG Sale. Take a peak inside Todd Snyder’s Madison Avenue flagship in New York City, and find out why we think Todd Snyder is an amazing alternative to J. Crew for menswear.

Unsimply Stitched – Buy 8 pairs, save $24 with code SAVE24.  Buy 12 pairs, save $50 with code SAVE50.  Find out more about one of our essential options for colorful mens socks with Modern Fellows’ review of Unsimply Stitched’s unique socks and my interview with founder Alex Hendeles.
